What is marketing?

This is a question that usually comes up for me. I feel that everyone's answer is different, and it all relies on what marketers consider marketing to be. For some, marketing is a phrase that refers to displaying business products or services to the general public, for others, it is a networking chain that connects with consumer demand, and for yet others, it is a bridge between the demands of the customer and the firm. Some people assume that marketing is a sales and promotion activity

Well. In our strategic relationship marketing program guest series course, I learned this concept from the master of these industries. There I met several excellent guest speakers who had a wealth of marketing experience and provided marketing tricks and tips in their own unique style.

There is a saying by Robert Boyce that

“Knowledge is power, Knowledge shared is power multiplied”

So, I'm going to tell you about my experience with these incredible marketers and what I learned from them.

Networking and Improving is so Important

Furthermore, I met alumni from our campus who had taken the same course and were pursuing a career in marketing. Throughout the process, they all gave some fantastic advice to think about while applying for jobs or looking for ways to get started in the marketing profession. Mina Mashayekhi, Zain Dewsi, Giulia Barletta, and Aris Kayaaslan shared life-changing wisdom.

I discovered that networking through Coffee conversations is a terrific way to meet new people and learn about the job market, and they also enable you to share your abilities and knowledge with others, and who knows, these tiny coffee chats can one day lead to the best potential job.

Making your resemblance unforgettable is always a good idea; people will remember you for the small subtleties of things you do on your first acquaintance. This was Giulia Barletta's greatest piece of advice.

Another piece of advice from Zain Dewsi is to make the cover page interesting in order to catch the employer's attention. Because marketing is a creative profession, we should be more creative with our cover letters by including our likes and dislikes as well as some minor information about ourselves, because these small things can sometimes lead to bigger changes.

Follow your Dreams to achieve your Goals

Now the third session was by Natasha Persad. who is currently the Senior Partner in Marketing Strategy at Vena Solutions, during our guest lecture series for the strategic relationship marketing program. She worked in marketing for 12 years

She was certain that we should pursue what we enjoy in order to reach our objective. One should select something they enjoy doing, a field in which they are interested, and build something from there since our excitement and love help us achieve our goals. To achieve anything major and to drive the company to its maximum potential, it is vital to play a positive role in the team.

I've shared my meeting with these folks; it's always a good idea to share their industry experience because there's always something we can learn from others and things we don't know about that knowledge. I was lucky to meet these folks and to be able to share my expertise with others.

Eventually, our journey can begin with many goals in mind, and many questions arise, but we should concentrate on how we can organize all of our concerns, and I believe that all of these tactics and tips can help us not only to be an effective marketing executive but also to be a decent professional business leader. Our course instructor Lori Nave assisted us in meeting all of these marketing professionals and leaders who shared their own experiences of being in this field was captivating learning for me.
